Experience Yorkshire's Hidden Gem

Drax Golf Club was founded in 1990 and is nestled in the county of North Yorkshire. The course layout makes it manageable for a beginner, ideal for the casual golfer, whilst offering a difficult challenge even for the more skilful players because of its narrow fairways, variety of trees, hazards and testing greens which are renowned in the Yorkshire area.

Golf Is for Everyone

At Drax Golf Club, we believe that golf is a sport for people of all ages and abilities. Whether you're looking for a relaxing round with friends or a serious competition, we have something for everyone.

England Golf Sustainability Project of the Year Finalist 2022

"A real hidden gem, lovely course with some testing holes. It was very nice, a lovely walk and even the towers added some "atmosphere". [It is] great how the trees now camouflage them."
