"I’ve looked forward to playing Drax GC for a long time for the spectacular location next to the power station and backdrop of the cooling towers. I wasn’t disappointed the course was in excellent condition with firm but holding true putting greens.

 

Drax isn’t a long course but it’s vital to put your drive in the right spots on the fairway as you can easily be blocked out for your approach shot by the many mature trees and missing the fairway is not advisable.I was made very welcome in the busy friendly clubhouse afterwards."
