Step One - About You

Membership Terms & Conditions

1. Membership Duration & Union Fees

​

  • 12-Month Memberships: All membership categories are 12-month terms and include Union Fees, with the following exceptions:

  • Excluded Categories: Lifetime, 6-month, and 9-month memberships are not inclusive of Union Fees and are not categorised as standard 12-month terms.

  • Pro-Rata Policy: All new memberships are pro-rated to the following April (excluding Lifetime, 6-month, and 9-month members).

2. Introductory 6-Month Membership

​

  • First-Year Only: The 6-month membership is a one-time introductory offer. Upon renewal, members must transition to a different membership type.

  • Eligibility: Applicants are eligible for the 6-month rate only if they have not been a member of Drax Golf Club at any time in the 24 months prior to their application.

3. Changes to Membership Type

​

  • Transfer Limits: Existing members may only switch from a 12-month membership to a 9-month package.

  • Notification: To request a change in membership type, you must notify the Committee via email at the time of your renewal.

  • Non-Transferable: Memberships are for the registered individual only and cannot be assigned or transferred to anyone else.

4. Junior & Family Benefits

​

  • Free Junior Associates: Adult members may include up to two juniors (under age 16) in their membership at no additional charge.

  • Independent Juniors: Juniors under 16 joining without an associated adult member must pay the standard Junior Membership fee.

5. Drax Sports & Social Club (SSC) Requirements

​

  • Compulsory Subscription: All members (except Juniors) must pay a mandatory SSC subscription.

  • Rates:

    • Standard: £30.00

    • Over 65s: £15.00

  • Payment: Fees are due upon joining and operate on a 12-month rolling program.
