Join us today in celebrating a HUGE milestone for Drax Golf Club – our 35th Anniversary!

Thirty-five years ago, a dream took root, and a fantastic community of golf enthusiasts blossomed right here in Selby, North Yorkshire!

The story of this club began with the dedicated employees of Drax Power Station. Throughout the 1980s, they ran the Drax Golf Society, enjoying frequent visits to other golf clubs. But they always held a bigger dream: a place they could truly call home, a club of their own. That dream became a reality, and from those very first tee-offs, Drax Golf Club has been more than just a course; it’s been a second home for so many of us. We've seen incredible talent emerge, witnessed amazing triumphs, and shared endless laughs, all against the stunning backdrop of our beloved greens.

We want to send a massive THANK YOU to every single member, past and present, our incredible staff, and everyone who has supported us on this amazing journey. Your passion and dedication have made Drax Golf Club what it is today – a vibrant, welcoming, and exciting place to play the sport we all love.
