On Friday 10th January we said goodbye to a highly regarded member and friend Richard 'Dick' Whiteley who sadly passed away in December.
Richard's wife Gina and family would like to take this opportunity to thank those who attended Richard's funeral to celebrate his life.
The family were humbled to see such a large turn out from his many friends and fellow golfers not only from Drax, but from the John Bull Golf Society and Normanby Hall Golf Club where Richard was Club Captain in 1991.
The funeral collection raised a fantastic £757.75 for a local Prostate Cancer Charity in the Doncaster area. Huge thanks go to those who kindly donated to such a good cause.
