Further to an update from Drax Power (Drax), we are writing to inform you that a contractor has been appointed to carry out clearance works on the 1st and 9th Holes of the golf course. The preparation works are anticipated to start in mid-February and are estimated to run until completion at the end of May 2024. Naturally, with any work of this size, these timings are subject to change.
During this period, every effort will be made to minimize disruption to our members and their play. In doing so, the course will be fully open for weekends, whilst the 1st and 9th holes may need to be shortened to par 3s on weekdays. We will continuously liaise with Drax and/or the contractor to confirm if this will be the case.
Drax Power and the contractor are committed to completing the works efficiently and effectively while we maintain the high standards of our golf course.
