Wow, what an incredible day we had yesterday at our Annual Invitation Day 2025! A massive THANK YOU to all 107 players who joined us and completely filled the tee sheet – your enthusiasm made the day truly special!
The course was in superb condition, a testament to the dedication and hard work of our Head Greenkeeper Mark Sneap and his brother Lee, along with our amazing team of volunteers! Give them a huge round of applause! 👏
A special shout-out to our starter Alan Puddyford for keeping everyone on time – even those enjoying an extra sandwich or two! 😉
And let's talk about the food! The catering was absolutely amazing, and a huge thank you goes to Donna Harrison, Amanda Corbett, and Nicky Sutton for keeping everyone wonderfully fed and watered throughout the day! 🥪☕
A Historic Moment: The Grand Opening of Our New Halfway House!
We were also thrilled to celebrate the inaugural opening of our brand-new Halfway House! A big thank you to our new President Chris Burrows for the presentation, and to Adam Short and Luke Bateson, Co-Directors of Fibre Environmental, who not only opened the facility but also announced their fantastic commitment to long-term sponsorship for all members! This is a game-changer! 🥳
